कोरोनाको दोश्रो लहरले नेपालमा लकडाउन सुरु भएको दुई महिना पुग्न थाल्यो। अप्रिल २६ मा बसेको क्याबिनेट बैठकले लिएको निर्णयले नेपालमा पूर्ण लकडाउन को घोषणा गरेको थियो। अप्रिल २९ तारिख देखी सुरु गरिएको लकडाउन थपीदै असार १ गते सम्म पनि कहिले खुल्ने टुंगो लागिसकेको छैन। संक्रमितको संख्या एक तिहाइले घट्न थालेपछि धेरैले असार देखि काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा निषेधाज्ञा खुल्छ भनेर सोचेका थिए। तर त्यसो हुने सम्भावना अझै देखिदैन। उपत्यकाका सिडिओको बसेको बठैकले उपत्यकामा जारी निषेधाज्ञालाई थप एक साता लम्ब्याउने निर्णय गरेको छ। सोही अनुसार निषेधाज्ञा आगामी असार ७ गतेसम्म जारी रहने छ। यद्यपि यसअघि बिहान ९ बजेसम्म मात्र खोल्न दिइएको खाद्यान्न पसललाई बिहान ११ बजेसम्म खोल्न दिइने भएको छ।
हावाइ उडान पूर्णरुपमा ठप्प पारी सुरु गरिएको लकडाउन अहिले डेढ महिना बितिसक्दा भारत सहित केही देशहरुमा आंशिक उडान सुचारु छन्। 
केही दिन बिराई हुने एस्ता उडानले केही सहजता थपेको छ भने धेरै पिडा थपिदिएको छ। बिशेष गरेर खाडी मुलुकमा बैदेशिक रोजगारी गर्ने श्रमिकहरुको लागि भाडादार उच्च रहेको उनिहरुको भनाई छ। कम्पनिमा श्रम सम्झौता सकिएका र भविश्यको आशामा टुरिष्ट भिषामा यूएई लगाएत खाडी मुलुक आइपुगेका नेपाली अहिले मर्कामा परेका छन्। कोरोनाका कारण काम नपाईने र नेपाल फर्कनकालागी हवाइ सेवा बन्द हुँदा भिसा सकिएर फाइन तिर्नु ���र्नेहरुको पिडा सुनीनसक्नु छ। युएईमा रहेर नेपालीहरुको हकहित र सेवामा समर्पित संस्था नेपाल एसोसिएसनका अनुसार युएईमा मात्र अलपत्र पर्ने हरुको संख्या पाँच हजार हाराहारी छ।
चर्टर्ड र केही देशहरुमा मात्र सिमित रहेको हवाइ उडान तोकिएको स्वास्थ मापदण्द पुरागरी सुचारु गर्न बिभिन्न संघ संस्थाहरुले माग गरेपनी त्यसको सुनुवाई हुन सकेको छैन। नेपाल एअरलाइन्सका यूएई म्यानेजर टिकाराम पंगेनिका अनुसार जुन २३ र ३० तारिखमा दुबईदेखी काठमाडौं सिधा बिशेष चार्टर्ड फ्लाइट हुनेछ। वाइडबडी जहाजले एक पटक मा २६४ जना यत्रु बोक्ने जानकारी दिनुभयो।

NepXpress sponsored Ad-film making competition kicks off at Tribhuwan University School of Management hall last Friday with participants count 80. The masterclass event organized by SOMTU is the part of NepXpress collaboration with School of Management Tribhuwan University IT Club. An Ad-film making training session was led by Mr.Ragav Gautam, creative head at Ad-media. The training session was focused on the creative aspects of ad film making process from scripting to story boarding, editing and directing. Session had an active participation of 80 students at SOMTU.
Participants are divided into group of 5 who will work on creative ad concepts. Submitted videos will undergo social media influence test for a week before the final competition dated 30th of March, 2020. More about event will be posted in NepXpress blog itself.
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans. Symptoms
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, tiredness, and dry cough. Some patients may have aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or diarrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and begin gradually. Some people become infected but don’t develop any symptoms and don't feel unwell. Most people (about 80%) recover from the disease without needing special treatment. Around 1 out of every 6 people who gets COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness. People with fever, cough and difficulty breathing should seek medical attention.
How does Corona Virus Spread?
People can catch COVID-19 from others who have the virus. The disease can spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth which are spread when a person with COVID-19 coughs or exhales. These droplets land on objects and surfaces around the person. Other people then catch COVID-19 by touching these objects or surfaces, then touching their eyes, nose or mouth. People can also catch COVID-19 if they breathe in droplets from a person with COVID-19 who coughs out or exhales droplets. This is why it is important to stay more than 1 meter (3 feet) away from a person who is sick.
Basic protective measures against the new coronavirus
Stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak, available on the WHO website and through your national and local public health authority. COVID-19 is still affecting mostly people in China with some outbreaks in other countries. Most people who become infected experience mild illness and recover, but it can be more severe for others. Take care of your health and protect others by doing the following:
Wash your hands frequently
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.
Maintain social distancing
Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
Why?
When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Why?
Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.
Practice respiratory hygiene
Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.
If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early
Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.

Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.
